How do I book a bus ticket on Gashtiq?
Search your route and date, compare the companies running that trip, open the seat map to pick your seat, then confirm. You'll get a QR ticket to show when you board.
How do I pay for my ticket?
Add money to your Gashtiq balance: send an FIB or Qi Card transfer to the number we show you, then tell us the number you sent from. Once we confirm it, pay for any ticket from your balance in one tap. Card payments are coming soon.
Can I book a trip for a family member back in Iraq?
Absolutely — many Gashtiq users book from abroad. Enter the passenger's name and phone number during booking. All departure and arrival times are shown in Baghdad time so there's no confusion about the schedule.
How do I choose a specific seat?
Each trip shows the real layout of that bus. Available seats are selectable and taken seats are marked, so you reserve the exact seat you want rather than being assigned one at the counter.
What does it mean that a company is “verified”?
Every bus company registers with Gashtiq and is reviewed by our team before their trips become visible. Only approved companies can sell tickets, so you're always booking with a real, accountable operator.
Can I get a refund if my plans change?
Yes — cancel more than 24 hours before departure and the full ticket price goes back to your Gashtiq balance, or 50% between 6 and 24 hours before. Each company can offer better terms, shown on the trip page before you pay. See the cancellation & refund policy for the full rules.
