1. About these terms

Gashtiq is operated by AllSaferAI OÜ, registry code 17591726, Tartu mnt 67/1-13b, Tallinn 10115, Estonia ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you use the Gashtiq website or mobile app to search for trips, create an account or book a ticket.

By creating an account or making a booking, you accept these terms. How we handle your personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

2. What Gashtiq does

Gashtiq is a booking platform. We show trips from independent bus companies, let you choose your seat and book, and pass your booking to the company.

We do not run buses. The bus company is the carrier: it is responsible for the trip itself — the bus, the driver, the departure, the journey and your luggage. When your booking is confirmed, your contract for the journey is with that company.

These terms are for passengers. Bus companies that sell tickets on Gashtiq are covered by their own agreement with us.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account or make a booking.
  • Give true, current details, and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password secret. You are responsible for bookings made with your account.
  • If you think someone else has used your account, tell us at once at support@gashtiq.com.

4. Making a booking

  • When you choose a seat, we hold it for you for 10 minutes while you check out. If you do not finish in time, the seat is released.
  • Check the trip details — date, time, boarding and drop-off stops, price and the company's rules — before you confirm.
  • When you confirm, you get a booking reference at once. In the app, you also get a ticket with a QR code.

Each bus company sets its own rules for luggage, children and gender-separated seating. They are shown on the trip page before you pay and form part of your booking.

5. Passenger details and booking for others

  • Each passenger's name, gender and ID number must match the ID they carry. The bus company can refuse boarding if they do not match.
  • Every passenger must bring a valid ID (and a passport for international routes).
  • You may book for someone else, such as a family member. Only do this with their permission. You are responsible for the details you give and for paying for the booking.

6. Prices and payment

  • The bus company sets the ticket price. Gashtiq may add a service fee. The total you pay is shown before you confirm.
  • Prices are shown in the currency of the trip, normally Iraqi dinar (IQD).
  • You pay for tickets from your Gashtiq balance.
  • To add money, send a transfer to the account shown in your account, write the code we give you in the transfer note when your app has one, and tell us the phone or account number you sent from. We check every transfer by hand and add the money to your balance once we confirm it.
  • Your seat is held only for the time shown at checkout. Because top-ups are checked by hand, a top-up may not be confirmed before the hold ends.
  • Card, FIB and Qi Card online payment are not available yet. When they are, they will be shown at checkout.

Your Gashtiq balance

  • Your balance can only be used to pay for tickets on Gashtiq.
  • You can't withdraw it as cash or send it to another person.
  • Each top-up is between 5,000 and 500,000 IQD. Send the exact amount, with the code in the note. A request you don't send within 24 hours expires.
  • If we can't find or match your transfer, we reject the request and show you why. If you sent money we couldn't match, contact support with the code.
  • Refunds for cancelled tickets you paid from your balance go back to your balance — see the refund policy.
  • Your balance does not earn interest.
  • If you want to close your account while you still have money in your balance, contact support first.

Because a ticket is for transport on a specific date, the 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases does not apply. You can still cancel under the Cancellation & refund policy.

7. Cancellations, changes and refunds

Cancelling a ticket, refunds, and what happens when a company cancels a trip are covered by our Cancellation & refund policy, which is part of these terms. A company may offer better terms than that policy; if so, they are shown on the trip page before you pay.

A bus company may need to change a departure time, bus or stop. If it does, we will tell you using the contact details on the booking.

8. Boarding and travel

  • Arrive at the boarding point in good time. The company may close boarding before the departure time.
  • Show your booking reference or ticket QR code when you board. Each ticket can be checked in once.
  • Follow the driver's and the company's instructions and safety rules on board.
  • The company may refuse to carry a passenger who is a danger to others, or who breaks the law or its rules.

9. Using Gashtiq fairly

You must not:

  • give false details, or book in someone else's name without their permission,
  • hold or book seats you do not intend to use, to block them for others,
  • resell tickets unless the bus company allows it,
  • copy or collect data from Gashtiq with bots or scrapers,
  • try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, or that we reasonably believe is used for fraud. Where we can, we will tell you why first.

10. Reviews

Reviews must be honest and about a trip you took. No insults, personal data of other people, advertising or illegal content. Reviews are public. By posting one, you allow us to show it on Gashtiq. We can remove reviews that break these rules.

11. Our responsibility

  • We are responsible for the booking service: showing trips, holding seats, recording your booking and passing it to the company.
  • We are not responsible for how the bus company carries out the trip — for example delays, breakdowns, the driver's conduct, or lost or damaged luggage. Raise these with the company. We will help you contact it.
  • We try to keep Gashtiq available and correct, but we cannot promise it will always work without interruption. Trip details come from the bus companies.
  • Where we are responsible, our liability for a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it through Gashtiq.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Your rights as a consumer under the law are not affected.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies. A booking you have already made stays under the terms that applied when you made it.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Estonian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

If something goes wrong, please contact us first — most problems can be solved quickly. Consumers in the EU can also turn to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon). Courts in Estonia have jurisdiction, without taking away your right as a consumer to go to the courts where you live.
